He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilmer Thomas and Nina Pearl Casey Best; and his sister Janice Bustle. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Chowning Best of Shelbyville; his children, Wilmer Todd Best (Angela) of Waddy and Tammie Best Radcliff (Chuck) of Shelbyville; his sisters, Bonnie Nethery (Mitch) of Glasgow, Eveline Gravett of Versailles and Jo Ann Waldridge (Claude) of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Whitney Radcliff, Paige Menard (Shawn), Taylor Forrest (Logan), Lyndsay White (Mason) and Andrew Best; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Reagan, Ryker, Parker, Emmerson, Ethan, Brayden and Hailey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 23rd 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM.
