Rashard Guinyard is a wildcat track star who passed away on April 25. An obituary was given by the Abilene Christian Track & Field and Cross Country expressing they were devastated to know his demise.
Abilene Christian Track & Field and Cross Country expressed that had signed with ACUTF to join the team this Fall. Furthermore, they voiced to keep Rashard’s friends and family in their prayers.
He was recruited on March 1 and had a great future ahead of him, but all remained a dream as he is no more among us. He was from the Crowley High School and was Class of 2022.
His personal best record were 10.74 in 100 meters and 22.93 in 200 meters. He also won the first position in the track race after the covid with the timing of 7.16 on January 9, 2022.

A fatal overnight shooting occurred on a Saturday in southwest Fort Worth which took a life of a man. When police arrived at that place, they found a man dead in the parking lot.
On examing him, police found that he had at least one gunshot wound and there were several bullet casings scattered around him. On further investigation, it was found a large people gathering was there, and open firing was done when the victim and others tried to run away.
The police have not disclosed the details of the deceased man, and the death news of the Rashard Guinyard also came at the same time so, people thought he might have died in the shooting, but more details are yet to come out.
