64 years old football manager Kammy is leaving Sky Sports at the end of the season after 24 years. Here’s what we know about his recent update on his health condition.

Chris Kamara, most known as Kammy, is an English former professional football player and manager who has been working as a presenter and football analyst at Sky Sports. As a player, Kammy was known as a tough-tackling midfielder. The former player joined the Royal Navy at the age of 16 before being signed up to Portsmouth in November 1974.

Furthermore, he had played for various teams, including Swindon Town, Brentford, Stoke City, Leeds United, and Luton Town. And in November 1995, Bradford City chairman Geoffrey Richmond banished manager Lennie Lawrence and promoted Kammy from assistant manager to take Lawrence’s place.

And on January 22, 1998, Kammy was appointed manager of one of his former clubs, Stoke City, and arrived with aggressive purposes at the Britannia Stadium, stating that he would assemble a team good enough to take the club into the Premier League.

The 64 years old football analyst is leaving Sky Sports at the end of the season after 24 years. Recently, he revealed that he had developed a speech apraxia disorder alongside an existing thyroid problem.Furthermore, Kammy caused concern after appearing to slur his words during an appearance on Soccer Saturday this weekend, provoking viewers to message him on social media. And he admitted on Twitter that he had conceived the speech disorder alongside an existing thyroid issue.

Just over a month since that statement, Kammy revealed on Saturday that this would be his last season at Sky. His announcement occurred during Soccer Saturday, which let his fellow pundits deliver a touching tribute. Not to mention, he is one of the most loved pundits around and is famous for his mottoes such as Unbelievable Jeff.
