Kayvon Thibodeaux was selected USA Today’s High School Football Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2018 while playing high school football at Oaks Christian School.

Kayvon joined the University of Oregon to play collegiate football for the Ducks after graduating from high school.

Kayvon Thibodeaux was born in South Los Angeles, California, to his parents, Angelo Thibodeaux and Shawnta Loice.

Shawnta, his mother, is also his manager. Thibodeaux’s mother is a well-educated woman with remarkable management abilities. Shawnta schedules time to prepare and manage her son’s obligations and commitments to his Ducks team.
Kayvon, as a result, has his mother’s full support while he pursues a professional football career. Kayvon, on the other hand, has yet to reveal anything about his father, preferring to keep it to himself for the time being.

Thibodeaux spent two years at Susan Miller Dorsey High School, where he played football, before moving to Oaks Christian School in 2017.
After earning 18 sacks and 54 tackles during his senior season in 2018, Thibodeaux was awarded the High School Football Defensive Player of the Year by USA Today.

During his high school career, Kayvon had 152 total tackles, 54 sacks, and eight forced fumbles, and he was the second-highest-rated overall player in the 2019 recruiting class.

Over numerous other offers, Kayvon chose to play collegiate football for the Oregon Ducks at the University of Oregon.
