Veronica Betancourt Obituary

Veronica Betancourt passed away on Thursday, February 17th. She leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Jose. Her Daughter Sophia (8), and 3 Sons, Joseph (18), Moises (13), and Benny (4). A doting mother, her greatest joys in life were her 4 kids. She enjoyed watching her eldest sons play and excel at football and watching Sophia play softball.

Veronica Betancourt Cause of Death

Many of her family knew her as Vern, Vernie, & Vero. Her contagious laugh and quoting movies will always be remembered at family parties. She was active in the community and served as Secretary for the Moorpark Youth Football Board of Directors in 2017 and 2018. She most recently volunteered as Team Mom this past Fall for Moises’s Senior Division Football Team.

Veronica spent her spare time chasing Benny around the neighborhood comically documenting his adventures on social media. Veronica’s love for oldies, old school, and hip-hop music was infectious. Our sincere condolences go to the friends and family of the deceased.
