His mother’s name was Miley, and his father’s name was the Reverend Wilson C. Hand. Homer was the first kid for both of them. Homer was the name they chose for their son. Following his retirement from Chevron, Inc., where he had worked as a Planner for a number of years, he formed and ran Homer Hand Income Tax & Bookkeeping for a number of years before selling the company. Prior to his retirement, he had worked there as a Planner for many years. Over the course of several years, he continued to be victorious in the pursuit of this goal.
