Great Western Highway Car Accident, How did it Happened?
After a multiple-vehicle crash at the notorious Sinclair Road turn-off into the highway, there are long delays on the Great Western Highway between Leura and Wentworth Falls.
Traffic was backed up to Leura Public School on the eastbound side of the highway, at approximately 11 a.m.,on Thursday, April 28, 2022. At least four vehicles are involved, including a truck, and the fire department, police, and ambulance are on the site.
A female pedestrian was killed early this afternoon when she was struck by a truck on the Great Western Highway in Blaxland. The woman was treated by NSW Ambulance personnel, but she died on the spot.

A woman in her twenties was also treated for a hand injury and abrasions by paramedics. She was taken to Lithgow Hospital by road in a stable condition.
