Gail Meats Obituary

Gail Meats, has passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 6, 2022. His death has been confirmed by Yonge Street Mission, through an online post. The circumstances surrounding her death has not been made public at the time of this publication.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Gail Meats, our former YSM Evergreen and EES Director, on June 6”, Yonge Street Mission announced.

Gail Meats Cause of Death

Gail was responsible for the creation and development of Evergreen Employment Services and was a strong advocate for personal days and staff care for frontline staff, especially.

After retiring from YSM in 2018, Gail volunteered at a refugee house and was an active and dedicated member of The Stone Church Toronto in Toronto. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Gail will be deeply missed.”

She will greatly be missed by many.
