Brent Burgin Obituary

Brent was the first archivist at the University of South Carolina Lancaster.

Brent Burgin died on Monday, June 20, 2022, according to a statement released on Facebook by USCL Medford Library.

We are devastated to announce the death of our colleague, Brent Burgin,” the tweet said. His cause of death, however, was not divulged.

Brent was instrumental in the establishment of the Native American Studies Center and the USCL University Archive.
